Dr. Jimmy Hoppers

When we opened in 2008, Physicians Quality Care brought a completely new kind of walk-in medical clinic to the Jackson area. Drs. Jimmy and Melanie Hoppers, who between them have 60 years of experience in urgent care, internal medicine, and pediatrics, have a simple philosophy - to treat others as they wish to be treated.

  • A full-time concierge staff whose sole job is to make guests feel comfortable and at home before they see the doctor.
  • A state-of-the-art movie theater featuring an 111-inch screen and Dolby 7.1 sound.  We feature classic movies and sitcoms while you wait.
  • An oversized children’s play area just off the waiting room.
  • A library filled with periodicals.
  • A snack bar that offers complimentary hot coffee, hot chocolate, slushies, and a variety of snacks.

In 2013, Physicians Quality Care opened a second clinic in Milan.

Physicians Quality Care OCCMed offers employee health care services for businesses and industry throughout the area. Our OCCMed services include workers comp, DOT physicals, hearing tests, onsite clinics and health and wellness fairs. We speak OSHA! Watch our commercial!

Community work

We are proud to be part of our respective communities and actively support charitable and educational activities throughout West Tennessee. Just a few of the organizations we support include the Exchange Club – Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, RIFA, the Dream Center, the Boy Scouts of America, Youth Town, Tennessee Medical Foundation, and many public and private school educational and athletic endeavors.
