Christy Sorrell PT / Director of Physical Therapy
Christy earned her masters of physical therapy degree in 2004 from University of Tennessee, Health Science Center. Born in Jackson, she also has a bachelor's degree from Lambuth University. She has been practicing physical therapy in her hometown for almost 20 years and has work experience in a variety of patient settings. She also has training in Paris Manual Therapy. Her primary emphasis is in, but not limited to, an outpatient physical therapy setting, which includes post-surgical rehab and various orthopedic injuries and conditions.
Haley Russell Office Coordinator / PT Technician
Haley, who was born in Blackwater, Mo., graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in exercise science. She is an important part of the Physical Therapy department and performs a variety of duties, including patient care, insurance and scheduling.
Nicole Reid PT Technician
Born in Henderson, Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree from Freed-Hardeman University in 2013. She is also a licensed personal trainer with Ashworth College, licensed by the National Council of Strength and Fitness. She is currently enrolled in the PTA program at Jackson State, working toward completing her degree as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. She is an important part of the Physical Therapy department and performs a variety of tasks, including office responsibilities and patient care.
Emily BullardPTA
Emily is a 2012 graduate of the Arkansas State University Physical Therapy Assistant Program with a prior bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Freed Hardeman University in 2009. Emily has lived in Jackson for the past 9 years working in a variety of physical therapy settings, specializing in geriatric rehab. She also coaches volleyball in her spare time and is the newest member of our team.
Eilis HurtadoPT Technician
Raised locally in Lexington, Eilis graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. She is also a licensed personal trainer, licensed through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She plays a leading, important part within our Physical Therapy department. She performs an array of duties that include patient care, scheduling, insurance and office lead.
